What Happens After You Reach Out

No black box, no chatbot maze, no 48-hour wait. Here’s what a real ProStat contact looks like.

    Within 1 business hour

A PA-based recruiter calls or emails you back during business hours. After hours? You’ll hear from us first thing the next morning. Weekends are real for us too — many of our requests come in Friday afternoons.

    Within 1 business day

If you’re a nurse or aide, we walk you through credentialing requirements and timing. If you’re a facility, we scope the order — roles, shifts, rates, start date — and tell you what we can deliver and when.

    Within 1 week

For nurses and aides cleared to work, your first shifts are booked. For facilities, you have credentialed clinicians showing up on schedule with a named account manager to call when something changes.

    Who Answers When You Call

A real person who has worked PA healthcare staffing for years and knows the difference between a per diem and a contract — not a routing menu.

ProStat is a 25+ year Pennsylvania healthcare staffing agency, headquartered in Lancaster, owned and run by people who got into this work because the field deserved better. When you dial 484-509-4920, you reach our front desk during business hours and a recruiter on call after hours and on weekends. Same goes for email at info@prostatworkforce.com — replies come from a named recruiter, not a no-reply alias.

If you’re a nurse, LPN, RN, CNA, PCA, or aide, the person you talk to is someone who routes you to assignments fitting your certifications, commute tolerance, and schedule. If you’re a facility administrator, the person you talk to is someone who has filled urgent SNF, personal care, behavioral health, and IDD coverage at sites across PA and knows what works and what doesn’t.

Before You Reach Out — Quick Answers

    What are your business hours?

Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Eastern. Weekend and overnight on-call coverage for urgent staffing requests. Your message is never just sitting in a queue.

What types of facilities do you staff?

Skilled nursing facilities (SNF), personal care homes (PCH), assisted living, memory care, CCRCs and senior living, behavioral health residential, IDD providers, hospice, and home health. We do not staff hospital emergency departments.

    What roles do you place?

RN, LPN, CNA, PCA, HHA, DSP, Medication Technician, Behavioral Health Tech, and clinical leadership roles like MDS Coordinator and RN Supervisor. Both per diem and contract.

Do I need to be a PA resident?

You need an active PA license or certification appropriate to your role, and reliable transportation to your assignments. Many of our clinicians live just over the PA border in NJ, DE, MD, or NY and commute in.

How fast can you fill a shift?

Same-day for urgent SNF and personal care coverage in most central and eastern PA markets, depending on shift type and certifications required. Talk to us — we’ll tell you honestly.

How often do nurses get paid?

Weekly direct deposit every Friday for the prior week’s shifts. No 30-day waits.
